Scope: (ROCm Software Stack releases, SCRUM, NPI, Technical Process Improvement

Results: Improving ROCm release process framework, cadence, onboarding

Core Release Strategy & Execution

  • Release Lifecycle Management: Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive release plans and schedules for ROCm software to ensure predictable, efficient release cycles.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product management to define milestones, manage dependencies, and resolve schedule or priority conflicts.
  • Risk & Escalation Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for release inquiries, proactively identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks to protect timelines.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all software releases strictly comply with company standards, quality benchmarks, and industry regulations.

NPI (New Product Introduction) Feature Coordination

  • Hardware-Software Alignment: Coordinate the tight synchronization of ROCm software features with new silicon/hardware roadmaps, ensuring Day-0 readiness for next-gen accelerators.
  • Feature Gatekeeping: Track NPI-specific feature branches from development through QA, managing scope trade-offs to ensure bleeding-edge features land safely without destabilizing the core release.

AI & Data-Driven Process Improvement

  • AI-Enhanced Release Ops: Leverage AI tools and machine learning models to analyze historical code churn, predict release slippage, and automate routine triage or documentation tasks.
  • Predictive Metrics & Analytics: Monitor and analyze release velocity and defect escape rates to make proactive, data-driven decisions that continuously optimize the delivery pipeline.

Technical RELEASE Program MANAGER – Amazon Games

Scope: (PC-Steam, Xbox, PlayStation); Live-service MMO (seasons, events, hotfixes) Build Health, CI/CD, branching, cross-team alignment

Results: Predictable live cadence for seasonal updates and hotfixes, fewer failed deploys, and faster incident recovery and mean time to repair.

  • Introduced new Release Tools and process changes and partnered with other dependency teams to streamline submission and deployment pipelines
  • Orchestrated end-to-end Steam releases; coordinated with NOC/infra and publishing/community to stage depots/branches and plan rollout & comms.
  • Introduced CI/CD improvements (readiness checklists, build-validation gates, branch health strategy, pre/post-deploy health checks).
